He supports fully funding public education, expanding access to affordable healthcare, and protecting reproductive rights. Quality Medical access
As a child in Rockbridge County, Andrew had severe health issues. These led his family to have to drive hours away for pediatric medical care at facilities that were equipped to handle his condition. No family, no matter where they live, should have to sacrifice as much as his family did to save their child's life. Andrew will fight for better medical care and access for everyone in the 37th, defending our local hospitals from the sweeping budget cuts coming our way.
Standing up for our rights
As a member of the House of Delegates, Andrew will continue to strive for an inclusive and welcoming Virginia; a Virginia resistant to the short-sighted and malicious claims coming out of Washington. Andrew will not let Virginia be forced backwards in history.
Protecting the vulnerable
Andrew believes that a strong community abandons no one. He wants to defend those most at risk in our community. He will stand up and provide resources for them, whether that be supporting local homeless shelters, food banks, or addiction recovery centers. Andrew will fight for everyone, no matter how small.
Costs of Living
It is becoming harder and harder for the average person to live in this area. Housing rates are skyrocketing at an unsustainable rate, and everyone knows it. Andrew lives that reality as well, not in some massive mansion (like his opponent) but in a small house near Lexington. He will do everything he can to support families just trying to survive in this era of rising costs.
